Future Craft is a collaborative project developed between students in Art Center College of Design and Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. As teams, we are challenged to bring the value of traditional craft into people's everyday life, and create a global notion to the idea of craft and design. The designed products were pendant light, tableware, and glassware.
Tableware: Combining the purest handmade quality with simply designed form, and create opportunity for mass production that still captures unique soul in every single unit.
Glassware: Using minimal form to accentuate the detail of craft. The set comes in 3 pieces: Sake, Champagne, and Water. Each glassware is casted with a unique metal piece at the base, offering a safe and aesthetic experience for users.
